Heat a few slices in a toaster oven or in a skillet with a touch of oil. Spread some 1000 island dressing on some toasted Rye bread, warmed sauerkraut, a dabble of melted vegan cheese and you’ve got a quick lovely sandwich. You can simply eat cold with some mustard and mayo between two slices of bread or slice it and in a stew or toss in salads or hot bowls of rice and veggies.

Loved them! Made "old school" Pastrami sandwiches for some vegan friends and we all tried to remember the last time we had had anything close to a pastrami sandwich. It was a great meal with great freinds. Love the texture, loved the flavor. Having the left overs tonight!
Warm the slices in a pan, then layer on a sandwich... especially good with a thousand island or sweet creamy mustard, sauerkraut and some rye bread.
